1990
We were founded by John Gibbs, Gary Register, and Joanne Register as a civil engineering and building construction company. Gibbs & Register was built on the belief that our greatest strength is our people.
1992
We repositioned ourselves as a civil and sitework construction company for municipalities across Central Florida.
1997
We partnered with Jacobs on our first water treatment plant.
2002-2006
We expanded our geographical range to include the rest of Florida.
2006
We began construction on our first major design-build project.
2007
Our highest volume year in company history.
2010
After 20 years of loyal service, Gary and Joanne Register left Gibbs & Register to pursue other endeavors.
2010
We opened an office in Kenner, Louisiana and completed work for the City of New Orleans as well as LaDOTD.
2018
We decided to rebrand ourselves. It included a new logo, color palette, design guidelines, and more. Our new brand helps us stand out in the industry and better connect with clients and employees alike.
2019
Thanks to a modern, branded design and streamlined functionality, our new website gives clients and employees an easy and enjoyable online experience with Gibbs & Register.
2019
At the end of the year, our founder, John Gibbs retired after 30 years of building the successful business that is Gibbs & Register.
2021
In December of this year John E. Rodriguez was promoted to President after 22 years of managing countless projects and overseeing it's operations.
2022
After more than 20 years on Story Road in Ocoee our Shop operations relocated to Apopka, Florida.
