John W. Gibbs, P.E.,
Mr. Gibbs has more than 38 years of design, construction and industrial managerial experience. Mr. Gibbs is a certified professional engineer in the state of Florida. His specialties include streetscape, parks and recreation, lift stations and drainage improvements. Mr. Gibbs started the company in 1990 and has been successful in growing G&R into a very successful contractor.

Ted Ferguson, DBIA

Mr. Ferguson carries with him more than 28 years of design and construction industry technical and managerial experience across numerous market sectors including: transportation, utilities, tunnels, wastewater, bridges and dams. Mr. Ferguson’s primary focus has been in project management and operations. Mr. Ferguson joined Gibbs & Register in 2005 as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Ferguson was promoted to President of Gibbs & Register, Inc. in 2009 and has been instrumental in leading the company during the past four years. Mr. Ferguson is a licensed General Contractor in the States of Florida, Louisiana and Georgia. Mr. Ferguson received his Design-Build Designation from the DBIA in 2013.

Heather Gibbs Winters,
Corporate Secretary

Mrs. Winters has 20 years of experience in the construction industry. She began working part time as a Runner, Receptionist, and Project Administrator for Gibbs & Register, Inc. (G&R) while attending high school. After working in this capacity for several years, she was able to obtain work in the construction industry during and after college. In 2000, after gaining additional experience in the construction field, she was offered a full time position at G&R. Mrs. Winters has an excellent working knowledge of our office and field operations. Her tenure here at G&R has allowed her to work in multiple capacities, which includes: Office Manager, Estimating (Bid Coordinator and Estimator), Project Management, Risk Management, Safety, EEO, and Human Resources.

Mark Bateman,
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bateman has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, operations and has held numerous executive management roles at blue-chip companies. Mark has lived in Barcelona, Spain and during that period was responsible for real estate development and European expansion of GE/Universal's resorts. Mr. Bateman’s experience includes the review and evaluation of all design, construction, operational finance and reporting processes and procedures for large corporations, civil engineering and construction companies, government contractors and manufacturing businesses. He has significant financial modeling and fund raising experience and has led negotiations with a consortium of banks for various credit facilities totaling $2.5 Billion dollars.

John Rodriguez,
Vice President of Operations

Mr. Rodriguez joined Gibbs & Register, Inc. in 1999 and has served in several roles, including Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and Estimator. Mr. Rodriguez’s current position is Vice President of Operations. He has more than 16 years of design and construction experience through several markets, including Design-Build, Building Construction, Utilities, Stormwater and Roadway construction. While with G&R, Mr. Rodriguez has managed many projects throughout Florida. In 2010, he helped open G&R's office in Louisiana and managed projects for the LaDOTD and the New Orleans International Airport. John holds a Certified General Contractor license and a Certified Underground Utility and Excavation license in the State of Florida.
